The Service application is the mobile app for field technicians performing equipment maintenance and repairs at customer locations.

  1. Task Creation: Service tasks are created in the web application by dispatchers
  2. Assignment: Tasks are assigned to specific technicians
  3. Mobile Notification: Technicians receive tasks with banner notifications
  4. Task Execution: View details, travel to location, complete work
  5. Completion: Mark complete with checklist items and status updates

The app uses PowerSync for offline-first data synchronization:

  • Complete tasks without internet connectivity
  • Automatic sync when connected
  • Local data persistence
  • Background synchronization
